Our history

Since 1982, we have been using our know-how to help you carry out your projects with complete peace of mind. The history of the Group began with one man’s ambition: Jorge Nascimento, who started his career at the age of 16 and then devoted himself exclusively to the creation and growth of this Group. The complementary nature of our businesses makes us a strong and close-knit group, based in the south of France and in the Paris region.

1982

COMET created

Creation of COMET, a structural work business in the Île-de-France region. Jorge Nascimento joins the company as a trainee at the age of 16.

1994

ANCEL holding company created

Consolidation of the operating companies in the Île-de-France region.

1999

JORYF holding company created

Structure created by Jorge Nascimento takes a 30% stake in the ANCEL Group.

2003

Acquisition of the ANCEL Group

JORYF acquires 100% of the ANCEL Group and makes the managers shareholders.

2006

COMET PACA created

Structural work business in PACA established with COMET PACA. Construction of grouped single-family homes, small apartment buildings or mixed operations.

2009

Creation of Méditerranée Construction and establishment of VPPN in PACA

Construction of collective housing and office buildings.

Establishment of the VPPN company, tiling business, in the PACA region.

2011

Soleazur holding company created

Creation of Soleazur, the holding company for the construction division, including the managers in the shareholding.

2012

Excelya and CSP created

Real estate development activity established in the Île-de-France and PACA regions through the companies Excelya and Côté Sud Promotion.

2015

COMET Languedoc-Roussillon and EGCM created

Establishment of the structural work business in Languedoc through the company COMET Languedoc-Roussillon. General Contracting business created in the Soleazur Group with the creation of EGCM.

2016

Mellone Foncière created

Creation of a property company with Mellone Foncière.

2019

Perspectives Immobilières created

Creation of a land development business with the company Perspectives Immobilières.

2020

Mellone Immobilier created

Creation of a complementary and related development business in the PACA region with the company Mellone Immobilier.

2021

Mellone Habitat and Mellone Ingénierie created

Mellone Habitat joins Mellone Foncière in the management of the Group's real estate activities.

2021

Soleazur becomes Mellone Construction

The Mellone Group continues its structuring and development. The holding company for the construction division, Soleazur, has become Mellone Construction for the purpose of harmonisation.

An agile company

The constant changes in the markets has taught us to simplify our procedures for quicker decision-making. In the Mellone Group, the General Managers have full authority over their area of action. All the branch managers are significantly involved in the capital of the structure they manage. On a daily basis, this generates consistency and excellent responsiveness in decision-making.
